My Story...

“I'm Elena Brennan and I was born in London but I now call Philadelphia my home. In 2007, I left corporate America to become a female entrepreneur, and that is when BUS STOP shoe boutique was born. I became a shoe designer in 2015. My first shoe collection – 12 BUS STOP X women's oxfords – were designed in collaboration with All Black Footwear, a designer I’ve had a relationship with from day one. Since then I have launched many collections, all classics with a twist, timeless and season-less which means they won’t be out of fashion when the next trend hits, and they can be worn throughout the year. I’m always adding new styles to the ever growing #BusStopX silhouettes. Women feel good, different, unique, edgy, and above all comfortable when they rock a pair of my designs.

My brand BUS STOP X offers more than fashion. I offer a lifestyle that epitomizes the brand that I have honed over the years — to stand out, setting trends yet staying timeless. I approach every shoe design as a piece of art, while staying true to the modern designs that women covet. My edgy and striking shoes are one of a kind. 

LOUD was my boldest and most colorful collection! The inspiration for this collection of exclusive women’s oxfords, sneakers and sandals, tied-in with the boutique's 15th Anniversary theme — Crystal. Each shoe named after a gemstone or quartz crystal to shine positive energy into our lives. Bold shades, each style in limited quantities...making them as rare as the gemstones they were named after.

Autumn 2022, I launched a limited-edition BUS STOP X gender-neutral Collaborative Accessories Line "I'd Rather Be X” created for every human who loves travel and seeks adventure. Designed to accommodate city life and traveling to the faraway places “we wish we were." Designed in tandem with Montreal-based, woman-owned brand HOTELMOTEL.

My Sweet Sixteen collection BUS STOP X GROUND featured calming natural hues of deep rich earth tones, shades of cream, warm rouge and the bluest skies to connect us to the mystique and wonder of nature.

BUS STOP X EDIBLES freshly made delectable women's oxfords, inspired by the sacred happiness felt when indulging in our utmost favorite treats & pastries, and BUS STOP X IMBIBE velvet oxfords named after my favorite cocktails launched in 2024.

BUS STOP X SEEING CLEARLY launched Spring/Summer 2025. A capsule collection of oxfords, sandals, and boots in an unexpected mesh texture inspired by seeing into the future with clarity and compassion. Through the lens of clarity, the true nature of things come into focus. I've used the sheerest of mesh fabrics in monochromatic shades of transparent pure white to see-through black, as well as the smoothest mocha brown, sensual red, clean navy and true grey. Where sport meets chic!
